How to Use Reddit for Infographic Distribution

Reddit can be a great source to distribute your infographic. Reddit has communities which are called subreddits.

What is a Subreddit?

Reddit is made up of thousands of sub-communities, each focused on a specific topic. There’s a subreddit for science, a subreddit for music, and probably a subreddit for your nearest city.

How to find subreddits?

To find subreddits in your address bar enter:

http://www.reddit.com/r/keyword

If there’s a subreddit based on your keyword a page will be displayed with your keyword on it, and it will say how many redditors are subscribed to it.

How many subreddits do you submit your content to?

We suggest you to submit your content to 3-5 subreddits within a a week time span.

Why submit your content to Reddit?

It drives organic traffic to your page, and can provide reposting of your infographic on relative websites.

Pro Tips

1.) Write your title so it takes 2-3 lines of space. You could do this by writing a title that uses 2-3 sentences. The more white space it takes, the more likely they will click on your link.

2.) Submit your content when the Reddit community is still sleeping. The best time that I have been able to get content on the top of Reddit is during 6-7 am EST.

3.) Reddit is build on discussion. Therefore, if your content has a couple of engaging comments, it will stay longer on the top of the subreddit. To create some engaging comments, ask a friend or two to post comments to start the discussion.
